PHILOSOPHY

The traditional application of philosophy is tied to a set of values, methods, and self-definitions which have excluded women. Throughout history the philosophical work attributed to women has been devalued, and not included in recognized works, making the traditional history of philosophy a history of only men’s ideas.

Philosophy is the least balanced of the humanities in terms of gender.
