DATA COLLECTING
Interactive displays throughout the exhibitions will give people the opportunity to express their views on an array of subjects. The museum will collect the data and, through analysis, will build a resource archive for future studies.
RESEARCH
The OWM Library will hold the printed material, archives, manuscripts, prints and photographs of the history of the oppression of women. The library will also contain an extensive collection of books written on women’s issues. Inside the library will be a permanent installation celebrating feminists throughout history.
RECORDING
In the museum’s audio studio, volunteers will interview and archive stories from visitors and guests of the museum. Each conversation will be recorded and preserved in the library and will serve as an oral history for women. (reference storycorp)
